This calculator tool uses the methods and equations found in the ACR Green Finance Impact Methodology for New Green Building Projects to quantify environmental key performance indicators (KPIs) for bond-funded activities that meet the requirements of that methodology. The calculator quantifies the environmental impacts of the new construction or major renovation of green buildings, including:

• Greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions
• On-site renewable energy generation
• Energy use and savings
• Water use and savings

Following ACR’s methodology, the tool calculates the project’s environmental KPIs, impact relative to established benchmarks, and Carbon Return (MTCO₂e/$-year). Results are presented as the total benefit over the project life and are also normalized as benefits per dollar and benefits in a representative year. When applicable, impacts are also presented as a pro-rated share of the green financing relative to total project costs.
